Pet Credit Card Rewards

Pet Credit Card Rewards

Credit cards offering rewards programs for pet related expenses are a great way to save money in the present economy.  With the price of gas continuing to rise, consumers can ease some of their recurring monthly expenses by joining a credit card rewards program.   Pet rewards credit cards are increasing in popularity.  A credit card like the Bank of America Pet Rewards Visa, for example, offers a 500 point bonus after your first purchase and participants can redeem points for rewards with a point balance as small as 750 points.  Points are redeemable for a variety of pet expenses, including pet food discounts and coupons, veterinary expenses, pet store vouchers and other discounts at regional and national pet stores.  Points can also be applied as shelter donations throughout the country.  In a declining economy, helpless pets are often the first to suffer, so local shelters can use as much assistance as possible.

On Pet Rewards Credit Cardwww.collegecreditbuilder.com/petcards.htm , you can click and apply to a pet rewards credit card.  You can even upload a picture of your beloved dog, cat or other pet and see their cute little face pictured on the face of the credit card.

Your dog, you cat and any other pet is a very important part of your family.  They give some much and ask for so little in return.  Now, they can do something to help the family save money.  Pet rewards credit cards are increasing in popularity.  Immediate rewards are a plus since so many other credit card rewards programs require years of spending before any real benefits can be redeemed.

Kicking Bad Credit Card Debt to the Curb

Kicking Bad Credit Card Debt to the Curb

Everyone wants financial freedom, the ability to have their money work for them not only today but also into the future. Unfortunately many people have one big obstacle sitting squarely in the way of achieving this goal. Bad credit card debt, which in essence refers to just about any type of credit card debt, takes the control of their money and turns it over to their creditors through outrageous interest rates and fees that seem to pop up at the discretion of the credit lenders.

So how do you get out of the overwhelming trap that is bad credit card debt? How do you stop those annoying phone calls that come at all hours of the day? You go on the offensive and take the necessary action needed to do something about the problem because if you look at it logically it is not the credit card company’s fault you spent all that money you didn’t have, though they did make it easier.

Step one is to take responsibility for your own financial future by taking back control of your money. Don’t let your creditors dictate how you need to spend your money no matter how much they threaten or cajole you or your family. This does not mean you will not pay back that which you owe; it means that you will pay it back on your terms in such a way that allows you to reach your monetary goals.

There are several things you can do to start this process of dealing with your bad credit card debt. Calling the credit card company to see what your options are is a good place to start. Many companies have programs in place to help those who need it. Fee waiving programs, interest rate reductions, or even lower payments can be found but you have to take action and ask them what your options are and find the one that works for your budget. As long as you keep sending them something you’ll be surprised at how they will work with you.

Finding ways to pay down large chunks of those balances is another great strategy, but you will need to be willing to sacrifice not only some of your stuff but maybe also some time. Garage sales, e-Bay, and Craigslist are great ways to get rid of any extra items you have taking up space around your home. You may be amazed at how much you can make off of stuff you no longer use or need.

Get a second part time job delivering pizza at night or waiting tables. An extra thousand dollars a month can make short work of that debt and expedite your journey to achieving financial happiness. A part time job is not something you need to do long term either. It is a way to make some extra quick cash and get your debt problems back under control.

Taking action and attacking your bad credit card debt head on is the strategy that millions of people have used to get out of debt. Controlling your money instead of it controlling you will work every time, but you have to take responsibility for it and the future it can provide by doing so.

Compare the best credit cards for people with bad credit at www.securedcreditcardlist.comwww.securedcreditcardlist.com.  As we all know, responsible credit card use can lead to a lifetime of low-interest rate loan opportunities.  Notwithstanding a less than perfect credit record or minimal income, credit card issuers often give consumers a second chance to repair their credit history through the use of a secured credit card or a pre-paid credit card.  This is an opportunity that should not be taken lightly, particularly in light of the enduring credit crisis which has made it difficult for many working people with good credit records to receive new credit cards, auto loans and mortgages.

Secured credit cards issued by Bank of America, Capital One and New Millenium are specifically designed for applicants with imperfect credit histories.  Some of the features offered by these credit card issuers include:

*           Credit Lines available from $300 to $10,000

*           Set your own credit limit

*           Build or reestablish your credit

*           Save with a low non-intro variable APR, currently 14.9%

*           Exclusive savings on featured deals

*           Know you are protected with $0 fraud liability if your card is ever lost or stolen

During continuing economic instability, uncertainty in the stock market, illiquidity in the credit markets and the softening real estate market, one thing remains constant – consumers with damaged credit records should be given an opportunity to re-build their credit.  Responsibility, however, is essential.  If you do not have sufficient funds to buy something now, you should consider saving until you can.  Credit cards are most beneficial when you can afford to pay your balance in full every month.  In these turbulent economic times, where credit is getting more difficult to come by, it is important to establish a strong credit profile by establishing credit early and maintaining a consistent payment history.  Credit cards issued by Bank of America, Capital One and New Millenium are tailored for applicants with less than perfect credit.

I found a huge credit card directory… Does the credit card you apply for make a difference on your credit report?

If I apply for a poor credit credit card – http://www.affiliatetier.com/credit_repair/credit_cards.php – Would this effect my credit report?

If I apply for a really great credit card like American Express Blue: http://www.affiliatetier.com/credit_repair/credit_cards.php?review=23 – Would this look good on my credit report if I am approved? And would this look really bad on my report if I am denied compared to a poor credit credit card?

How many credit cards is too much to affect your credit score?
I am going to ask another question regarding which CC should I add to my credit card profile to add to my rewards. I have excellent credit, pay my balance in full each month, and I use my CC to pay for everything I can to rack up points/miles etc.

I am at a point where I want to increase my points and miles so there are some options. The question is, what is too much. I basically share a VISA with my wife, and have an older VISA that i keep. I realize that you should keep older credit cards for history. I want to add at least one AM/EX either the Starwood points, or the Delta Miles. I also might switch our Cap1 card to the signature to get 2 points for every $1 spent, instead of 1.25 for $1. That is a new card, not a switch. And recently, I have received letters for UNITED miles (20,000 bonus) and AA Miles (21,000 Bonus). I would love to use those just to add to my miles on those flights. Could I add 3-4 cards without hurting my excellent credit? I will not rack up debt.

Help answer the question

What credit card would you recommend for someone trying to re-establish good credit history?
I have decent credit but I had cancelled all my cards when trying to get out of debt. I am now free of all unsecured debt but I need to have a card so in the future I won't be hurt by having no credit.

I'm thinking I want a card with no annual fee and a low APR. The card would only be used very occassionally and paid off immediately. I have no desire to repeat previous mistakes.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good card for this purpose?
Okay, as I said, but everyone is skipping, is that I have decent credit. My credit score is 700.

When I got into trouble I went into debt consolidation right away BEFORE my credit got screwed up.

But I do appreciate those of you who are taking the time to answer.

Bad Credit Cards Can Help Your Credit Score

Bad Credit Cards Can Help Your Credit Score

A credit card that can be gotten with a poor credit rating is known as a bad credit card. These cards give those with bad credit a chance to improve upon the credit rating they have. For those people the cards act as a rescue like this. Those that were unable to control past spending urges will find these bad credit cards provide needed training.

Secured credit cards are what these bad credit card cards are called. The person is required to open an account that maintains a cash balance with the supplier of the card in order to obtain one. What is the reason for this? Credit card suppliers are in business and they find it hard to trust someone that has not fulfilled payment obligations in the past. Profits are what business is all about and profits are put at risk by this. The balance on the account will normally earn interest from the bank or company providing the credit card. This should be checked with the company providing the card. The cash balance in the account will be the deciding factor of the credit limit that is placed on the credit card for bad credit and it is normally fifty to a hundred percent of the balance of cash. Debit cards are another name these bad credit cards are known by and this gives credit to the fact that they are more a debt giving item than a credit giving item.

The market has numerous bad credit cards available. There are four things in particular that need to be taken into consider when looking for a credit card for bad credit that is suitable for you. The amount of the minimum balance that the bank requires you to keep, how much credit (what percent of the balance will be available for spending on the secured card), any fees involved in the obtainment of the card and how much interest will be earned from the account balance. No fees or other charges will be associated with the perfect credit card for bad credit and the smallest amount possible or a zero minimum would be required to be maintained. The credit limit will also be anywhere from ninety to a hundred percent of the balance. A decent rate of interest will also be offered on the ideal credit card for bad credit.

The concept of bad credit cards is good for those that have a poor credit rating by allowing them relief by allowing them to partake in the benefit of credit cards to improve credit standings.

Break These 5 Financial Habits To Become Debt Free

Break These 5 Financial Habits To Become Debt Free

None of us are perfect when it comes down to bad habits, but some are worse than others; not understanding your debt or finances is one of them. Kicking these bad habits into touch means that you can look towards becoming debt free:

1: Too many credit cards – Did you know that there are more credit cards than people in the UK? According to APACs, at the end of 2007 there were 73m credit and charge cards compared with around 60 million people.

Having too many credit cards means that you have the potential to get into too much debt. Although introductory offers many tempt you in, it is important that you take control of your credit card debt. Start by paying off the highest APR cards means that you can look forward to becoming debt free in a much quicker time.

2: Spending more than you earn – Spending more than you earn by living beyond your means is a financial habit which you need to nip in the bud right now. This is the quickest way to get into debt, especially if you regularly have to relay on your credit card the week before pay day.

3: Missing credit card payments – Always make sure that you meet your credit card, store card or catalogue payments as they fall due. Missing these payments not only means that you will have to pay late fees but any missed payments will also show on your credit file, which could make it more difficult to get accepted for credit in the future.

4: Losing touch of your finances – Being unaware of how much cash you have in the bank to how much debt you have outstanding means that you have lost touch with your finances, which will make it harder to become debt free. Checking your credit report is a good way to see your own credit history.

5: Not seeking debt help when you need it – Sadly debt problems will not sort themselves out, and if you are missing credit card, store card or even mortgage payments then you need to seek help as soon as possible.

Debt Free may be able to offer you one of our debt solutions which could help you to control your debts by reducing the amount that you need to pay to your unsecured creditors. Getting help about your debts mean that, if you qualify, you could look forward to becoming debt free in 60 months with an IVA.
